Fr. Matthew completed his studies for the priesthood at the Seminary Of The Good Shepherd, Homebush NSW.

On returning to the Archdiocese of Perth and being made a deacon, Archbishop Timothy Costelloe assigned Deacon Matthew to Floreat Wembley Parish in November 2014 to assist Parish Priest, Fr. Andrew Albis.  


Deacon Matthew was warmly welcomed by all the parishioners and made a significant contribution to the parish.      He quite often was invited by Fr. Andrew to prepare and preach the homily at weekend masses.

Archbishop Costelloe appointed Fr. Matthew an assistant priest at Kalgoorlie Parish in May 2016 where he will take up his new position from the beginning of July.      Fr.
