Weddings
The following information is provided to assist you in planning your wedding.
MEETING WITH THE FR. WAYNE
You will need to make an appointment to meet with Fr Wayne as soon as possible to discuss your wedding arrangements. Please phone him on 9387 1158.
WHAT TO BRING TO THIS MEETING
1. A copy of your original Birth Certificates
2. A copy of your Baptism Certificates
3. Your passport if you are not an Australian Citizen
4. If applicable a copy of :-
- Citizen papers
- Death Certificate
- Decree Nisi
5. An offering to Fr Wayne. It is appropriate that when considering an offering for the priest's services this be made directly to him. As a guide, a civil celebrant normally receives $300 + for the provision of such services.
MARRIAGE COURSE
Fr Wayne will request you to complete a marriage course. These courses are held in the city.

Flowers: Please note that our Altar Society need to be informed if you are providing your own flowers (in your own containers or in our Church vases or containers) or if you wish for members of the Altar Society to purchase and arrange them for you. It is customary to leave the flowers in the church after the ceremony.
Please advise Regi Joseph (St Cecilia's church) 9387 3263 or Maureen Young (Our Lady of Victories church) 9388 2068 of your arrangement at least 30 days prior to the ceremony.
